ABOUT ME

Amanda (Goldchickadee) is a Florida based cosplayer, active since 2006. In 2026 she will represent the USA in the Nordic Cosplay Championship in Sweden. She currently works as a pattern draper and tailor in an Orlando costume shop. Her previous professional work includes management of costume fabrication teams at Walt Disney World, and beginner sewing instruction for high schoolers. She has a BFA in Theatrical Costuming, and has a strong background in sewing, pattern making, tailoring, dyeing, millinery, EVA and styrofoam, and machine and hand embroidery. She has recently started teaching workshops at conventions, featuring hand and machine sewing, and specialty techniques like sewing fur.
